Ups and Downs!

Well of course life is full of ups and downs but it is how you handle them that makes you the person that you are. Ok....so I guess I should catch you up with what's going on. The business is picking up more and more and we seem to be getting some great clients. I just landed us a nice 4 figure deal..lol! One thing for sure is that it is begining to be a lot of work but I am happy to be in business with the people I am in business with right now. I start school on the 15th and I couldn't be happier. One thing is for sure I am truly blessed with the things and people in my life. I also just recently became exclusive with a guy. He is in the military and is gone for the next 3 months but I will see him next month. That is the hard part not seeing each other like I want to but after the 3 months is up things will change hopefully. We have know each other for a while, I believe we met in around 2002 but friends is all we could be. We will honestly see how it goes in that department. Anywayz.....a friend of mine told me she is getting married and another friends of mine is about to have her first child. I feel as though I'm getting left behind in some things and ahead of the pack in others. I'm just trying to do what GOD intends for me to do and he is constantly answering my prayers about life, love and the pursuit of happiness. Well have a great day everyone!

Last Weekend and This week!

Well last weekend was a weekend full of unknowns. One of my Friends/Sorors came into town for the weekend and we had a blast. Friday night we and some other Sorors decided to go to The Velvet Room cause we wanted to go where we know we would have fun. We did have a blast and the people were really cool there. Compound was our other option but the people at compound are just stuck on themselves at times. The dudes mostly. I danced the almost the whole night, until the last 30-45mins or so. We got home and went to bed around 5 and them woke up at around 9:30. We were so tired but hype all at the same time. We got to the greek picnic around 2pm and it was HOTTER than anything you could imagine. The stroll competition was good but I'm mad the Kappa fell..lol! There were no problems or anything everybody was cool with the other orgs(until a few days afterwards when pics started getting posted). I even saw some females(not talking about ZETAS) I don't care for at ALL but didn't say nothing just kept it moving(If you reading this you know which folks I'm talking about). We left and got some dinner and then chilled cause I couldn't go out on Saturday cause I had to be at church before 8am service to do audio and video stuff. I'm happy and blessed to be apart of my new church family. My friend wasn't feeling well so she stayed home while I went to hear the word of GOD.
This week at work I finished a big project that needed to get done. It was crazy cause it was already suppose to have been done by the person before me. I got a couple of new clients for my web design business. I'm on a serious diet so I will let you all know in a couple of weeks what is up with that. Have a blessed day!

Era

Well it has been a while since I have been on here to spill out my guts. My life has changed quite a bit since the last time I was on here. I moved to Atlanta for a job in Griffin with UGA and couldn't be happier about it. I have a good apt that I'm happy with but am hoping next summer/fall to buy my own house. Wow a home owner, sounds good to me. I just got accepted into Grad school at University of West Georgia. I couldn't go to UGA because my program is where else but Athens so that was my big catch 22. Today I'm going to tell one of my bosses that I got accepted and I'll let you know how he reacts to the news. I have been pretty busy with everything and I have my own web design business which is trip in its self. I hope and pray that I am were I'm suppose to be. I joined my church Shiloh Baptist Church and have my last members class this sunday with the paster. Things are starting to fall in place and I know that there will be bumps in my life but God has always got my back.
